First in Line

Went to the House of Blues in Dallas last night (as mentioned before)… to see Daniel Tosh

Daniel Tosh

(insert crappy cell phone pic here)

The show was fantastic! Lots of really great, new content… Most comedians stick to their normal punch lines from their largest cds… but Daniel only did that at the very end when people were shouting for it… Great stuff! Even a hilarious Dane Cook stab… The tickets were only $25 too…

We got seats in the front row… literally 4 from the middle. But let me tell you quick how we got there… We show up at 8pm; the front section is first come first serve… so we figured, the first show started at 8pm, why not get there then and wait in line. We saw a gigantic line that wrapped around into the parking lot. After waiting for 30 minutes, going through security and getting wrist bands… when they actually checked our tickets they laughed and sent us back. The gigantic line was for the 8pm show, which was starting very late… heh… so We ended up staying for a few drinks and getting back in line, eventually being the first group in line.

The only other time I’ve been up front at a concert/event is for Poison at Steamboat Days in Burlington… wasted :)

So you got there exactly at the time the show was? I seem to be confused on that logic. Sure you dont mean the show was at 9 or 10?

Actually I wasn’t clear, we had tickets for the 10pm show… there were two shows… So we decided to show up early at 8pm for the 10pm show, thinking that the early show would be let in and we could start the line for the late show.

At any rate, the show was sick dude, you missed out!

So on your recommendation I acquired some Tosh material. Very funny and exactly to my taste. Wish I could have seen the show, sounds like an awesome time.
